Our Back Deck Decorating Plans

As much as our beck deck needs a serious makeover, we won’t get around to it this year. We want to do a new layout so it’s a big job that will need to get started early spring (hopefully next year!). But in the meantime we want to enjoy it best we can, so we decided to order some new furniture, replace our light fixtures and custom make some large planter boxes that can house some tall grasses and create a sort of “wall” that will make the space feel cozy and give a sort of backdrop. Stay tuned for how this all comes together! I’ll share progress to our instagram stories, and will share the final result here once it’s done :)

Hence why mudrooms are on my mind!

March Mood Board & 5 Things

March, when we say “goodbye” to the long winter and “hello” to spring (although we did have snow in CT yesterday)! This mood board is all things light and sweet— light colors, materials and sweet details like florals and scalloped edges. I’m starting to think about what we’ll be planting in our garden and keep peeking at our plants and trees outside to see the buds starting! So exciting!
