Challenge number 3 is a fun one! This month I’m encouraging you to transform something you own. Maybe it’s painting a piece of furniture, changing out hardware on a dresser, adding texture to a vase or changing out a lampshade! There are so many options from small to big, just open your eyes to the possibilities :) Your aim is to either give something new life, or change something you don’t love as is.

If you don’t have anything currently that you want to makeover, it’s always fun to thrift and see what sparks your imagination! Maybe you find a frame that could benefit from some antique gold rub n buff, or a vase that can use a coat of texture and paint.

Here’s a look at 2 things we made over, both in the nursery. We purchased this beautifully made dresser unfinished and painted it and changed out the knobs. The mirror is thrifted and I customized it with peel and stick wallpaper.

Here’s a look back on some other custom touches we did to items in our home:

-chandelier

-art table

-nightstands

-tv console

-wood chest
