Happy holidays! Here’s a look around our home all dressed up for Christmas.
Read MoreWhen creating this year’s fall home, my goal was to appeal to the 5 senses: sight- pretty branches and flameless candles, feel- bringing out the cozy blankets, smell- diffusing combinations of my favorite fall essential oils, sound: opening windows to hear the wind rustling the leaves or the sound of a crackling fire, taste- cozy, restful time enjoying chai lattes or coffee brewed with pumpkin spice. Here’s to a cozy fall season!
Read MoreHere’s a look at our powder bath plans! We want the space to feel light, fresh and simple with lots of natural materials and warm accents.
We aren’t doing anything too drastic in here, but everything will get updated. Floors will be a beautiful honed limestone in a herringbone pattern, we’ll replace the beadboard, bringing it higher up the wall, give a fresh coat of paint to the whole space, replace the pedestal sink with a white oak vanity, swap the light fixture and toilet and add in some artwork.
See below for the before and a quick mockup and stay tuned for progress updates!

Gardening to me is such a rewarding experience— it teaches patience, perseverance and being in touch with nature. I especially love getting to share the experience with my kids; Showing them where food actually comes from and the work needed to grow that food. Below I’m sharing what we planted and some things I’ve learned from my few years of gardening!

Read MoreClearly we are on a closet kick lately! What started as a simple design plan turned into a much larger project. We decided if we’re doing the closet, we might as well do it right and for the long term—something that will work with our son’s changing needs as he grows.
Read MoreToday I’m sharing our latest mini project— the kids’ entryway coat closet! I wanted to make the closet more functional for the kids, meaning they can reach everything they need and easily put their things away. What started as me just wanting to add a low peg rail turned into a closet overhaul (and we ended up updating our coat closet as well!).
Read MoreWe got our roof done! It’s been on the list of things we knew had to get done since we moved into this home and we had it done this fall! It was so hard deciding on a shingle color and style and I realized there isn’t much online by way of examples. So hopefully If anyone is thinking of this roof color/style, then this photo will help!
