Toddler Bedroom Reveal

I’m so excited to finally share Oakley’s bedroom! My goal with this space was to create a calm, simple bedroom that he can grow into, while adding cozy and sweet details for character and personal touches.

We painted, added a custom peg rail along the back wall, created a custom built in bookshelf, swapped the light fixture and added a ceiling medallion, added window treatments and updated the closet. The dresser is amish made, purchased through a local wood market; we then painted and added unlaquered brass knobs to the unfinished dresser. Simple personal touches were then added to the space for a little extra personality such as: the hot air balloon, cozy rugs, plants, a rocking horse (that was mine as a child!), a vintage blueberry crate filled with books and sweet artwork.
