Our New Roof Details

We got our roof done! It’s been on the list of things we knew had to get done since we moved into this home and we had it done this fall! It was so hard deciding on a shingle color and style and I realized there isn’t much online by way of examples. So hopefully If anyone is thinking of this roof color/style, then this photo will help!

Our house color is Dove Wing by Benjamin Moore which is a warm white, and I knew I didn’t want anything too dark that would contrast too much with the house. We decided to go with GAF Timberline HDZ Weathered Wood for its warm gray tone that we thought would compliment the house well. We are so happy with the final outcome! We also had our gutters replaced and sized up to 6 inches.

As long as it took us to decide on a roof style and color, I’m definitely glad we took our time with it, asked for large samples and took them outside to look at against the house at different points of the day. It really helped us finalize our decision and gave us the confidence that we were making the right choice.
