I know it’s technically August, but here’s July’s mood board 😆 July was hot weather, beach days, mini trips, hydrangeas in full bloom and the month we really started to benefit from our garden!
Read MoreWe are in the home stretch with Oakley’s room! The built-in bookshelf is installed with some minor finishing touches needed, the new doors for the room and closet should be in soon and we are giving the closet a small refresh! Here are the plans :)
Read MoreSince taking the time to make our outdoor deck more functional and comfortable, we have gotten so much use out of it and I cannot tell you how much value it has brought to our lives! It’s so nice to have an additional space to hang with the family, entertain or enjoy our morning coffee. It has inspired me to make this month’s challenge to create a space outdoors if you don’t have one already, or if you do have one and don’t use it much, think about what you can change about it to make it more inviting!

We want to do a new layout so it’s a big job that will need to get started early spring (hopefully next year!). But in the meantime we want to enjoy it best we can, so we decided to order some new furniture, replace our light fixtures and custom make some large planter boxes that can house some tall grasses and create a sort of “wall” that will make the space feel cozy and give a sort of backdrop. Stay tuned for how this all comes together! I’ll share progress to our instagram stories, and will share the final result here once it’s done :)
Read MoreChallenge number 4 is dear to me because it’s one of the characteristics of my design style and what I think brings the spaces I create to life and filled with personality!
