The month of June seemed to fly by! School ended, we went on a little vacation and summer break and activities are in full swing!
June to me is flowers, beach, light fabrics, warm nights and being outdoors!
Here are my 5 things this month!
1.We took a family vacation to Montauk the week after Anchor finished school. This was our second time there and it’s so nice going back to a place you are familiar with. There is so much to do in Montauk for the whole family, and the surrounding towns. I think my favorite thing we did this time around was visiting LongHouse Reserve, a beautiful sculpture garden on 16 acres.
2. I finally filled our window boxes for the summer! This is one of my favorite combos yet! It’s bulb oat grass, African marigolds, vinca vines and petunias.
3. Our garden is flourishing this year, especially compared to last year. I’ve really been loving the mix of lettuces we grew this year— such a good base for salads! Here’s a post on this year’s garden.
4. This travel cocktail glass is so cute! Perfect for summer nights outdoors with friends :) I will warn you though it’s not shatterproof (ask me how I know 😜) haha but I like it so much I ordered a new one. I’ll just be more careful where I put it down lol.
5. We were so inspired by the landscaping and gardens in the Hamptons that when Dan saw this book at our local bookstore we had to purchase it!
I hope you’re all having a great start to the summer!
