These window boxes make our house exterior feel complete (besides the need for a new roof 😜)!! When we took out the overgrown trees on this side of the house and decided to forgo shutters when we had the house painted, it just seemed too bare on this part of the house. So, we decided to add some window boxes! Dan made these by hand and honestly his handiwork never disappoints!

I really thought it was such a shame because it’s such a nicely made table and I really don’t like having things in our home that we don’t use. So, I thought painting it and creating a chalkboard top could be a fun way to get it back in use again!

When we moved into this house there was a lot of nice landscaping but so much of it was overgrown and some of it was leaning against the house. Dan worked so hard last year to take down what needed to be and we came up with a landscaping plan, bought the plants and put them in. Read MoreI saw “give” “save” and “spend” banks for sale and LOVED the idea of a kids bank specifically for giving. I think this will get him more excited, involved and give him a better understanding about what it is to give. Essentially we are using it as a little bank where he can add some money to it each time he receives/earns some, then find ways to use it for good once he accumulates enough.
