DIY Succulent in a Glass

I always get so inspired when I go to Terrain and on my last visit I saw single succulents in containers with moss and they just looked so pretty! I knew right away it would be a great way to use vintage glasses, old candles or jars. They would make such a cute hostess gift, or with Valentine’s coming up a great little gift for a friend or family member!
See below for materials and the how to!
materials:
jar or container, preferably something you already have lying around or would otherwise be recycled
gardening soil
succulent
moss; I used a mixture of preserved reindeer moss in “natural” and “moss” and preserved spanish moss in “Kelly green”
small pebbles/rocks
plant mister (I use this one)
steps:
place rocks in the bottom of jar
add a layer of soil on top
place your succulent inside, adding soil around it to stay in place
lightly mist with plant mister if soil is dry
add your moss, covering the top of the soil
enjoy or gift for someone else to enjoy! don’t forget to check soil and mist when needed.
