Aruba

We went to Aruba for Dan’s brother’s wedding and it was such a blast! The wedding was a beautiful, simple ceremony on the beach. Although we spent most time on the resort to be with family, we did rent a jeep on the last day to explore some of the island and I’m SO glad we did! We saw amazing scenery and had a lot of fun hopping out and exploring.

The hotel/resort was nice and filled with lots of things to do. We stayed at Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino (where the wedding was held). They had a pool and beach, restaurants, a spa, Starbucks and a little gelato/candy shop. We could easily walk the boardwalk behind the hotel to restaurants, bars and shops.

I do wish we were able to stay longer as I would have loved to explore more of the island, but we really had a wonderful time!

I think the highlight of the trip was that Anchor got to sit in the cockpit after landing at home :)
