Blooming Basket Spring Centerpiece
If you're looking for a cute and easy spring centerpiece or decoration, I'm sharing how I made this flower basket! Wouldn't this also make a really cute hostess gift for spring festivities?!
I was inspired by flower baskets being sold at Terrain, and thought I'd try making my own. I'm so glad I did because it's super easy and you get control over what materials you use!
Okay, here's how to make it!
1. Gather your materials.
basket
saucer
plant
various types of moss
Make sure your plant fits on the saucer and your saucer fits in the basket. Play with different types of plants—daffodils, tulips, daisies or a mix!
2. Place your saucer in the basket and your plant on the saucer.
3. Place your first layer of moss.
I used this subdued, spanish moss as the base. Make sure it covers your plant pot so it's completely hidden.
4. Add your second layer of moss.
I used this bright green sheet moss to add a pop of color, but added it sparingly.
Enjoy and take care of the plant as normal.
