Stratton, Vermont
This is our third year going to the Wanderlust yoga festival in Stratton, Vermont. Dan and I started going snowboarding here pretty much since the beginning of dating, so it makes this place pretty special! It was fun taking Anchor for the first time (last year he was in my belly).
I only did one day of classes, so the rest of the time we could spend together hiking and stuff :)
Stayed
We rented a condo right in the village and it was absolutely perfect! I'm so glad we did because it was so much easier with a baby. The kitchen was key because we could store and heat up Anchor's food really easily. It was also super spacious so he could crawl around and just feel at home :)
Eat
During Wanderlust the restaurants have special menus which I LOVE! It's all healthy options, of course :)
We love Mulligan's, especially during the winter because they just have that warm, lodge feeling and comfort food. Great place to go with kids!
For breakfast we always head to Stratton Mountain Market. We like going there because we can just pick up a simple (but yummy) sandwich and coffee and either eat somewhere outside or bring it back to our room. PS the woman who works there is SO nice and remembers peoples names. She has been working there ever since I started going to Stratton :)
Bar 802 is another delicious option. It's small inside so probably not best with kids, but since it was so nice while we were there we were able to eat outside.
Verdé is great if you want a nicer, upscale dining option.
Play
Hiking!! Take the gondola up to the top of the mountain—such amazing views! There are all different trails to choose from. The gondola ride itself is enjoyable :) (You can see our short little video of it below.)
Music—Stratton has lots of concerts throughout the summer season!
