Lavender Pond Farm — root & dwell

Over the weekend we visited Lavender Pond Farm in CT. I am OBSESSED with lavender, so I had to check this place out!

The grounds are absolutely gorgeous. The owners live on the land, there's a pond (of course), chickens, sprawling lavender fields, a shop, giant chess and a pretty wooden swing. We had fun walking around then went somewhere on the water for lunch :) A perfect way to spend our Saturday!
