The playroom is starting to feel like a playroom now! I designed this room to easily transition from playroom to office, so before the toys came in it looked more like a home office. Now the shelves are filled with toys and the beautiful activity table Dan made for the space is getting plenty of use!

We thought we were going to start the nursery before the baby came and since we didn’t know if the baby was going to be a boy or a girl (it’s a boy!!) we kept it pretty neutral. I’ve decided to make a few changes, adding in some dark touches, a built-in bookcase and custom reeded detailing to the closet doors which we will change from bi-fold to French.

Having the garden prepared really signals the start of the season for me and it brings us so much joy as a family.
