The playroom is starting to feel like a playroom now! I designed this room to easily transition from playroom to office, so before the toys came in it looked more like a home office. Now the shelves are filled with toys and the beautiful activity table Dan made for the space is getting plenty of use!

Read MoreWe have finally started on the nursery! Plans have changed a bit since my original design. We thought we were going to start the nursery before the baby came and since we didn’t know if the baby was going to be a boy or a girl (it’s a boy!!) we kept it pretty neutral. I’ve decided to make a few changes, adding in some dark touches, a built-in bookcase and custom reeded detailing to the closet doors which we will change from bi-fold to French.

We did a good clean up of our patio and deck so we can start enjoying it ASAP. We plan to do some major renovations to it in the next few years, but for now we will enjoy it as is.
