How to Create a Cozy Nursery Corner

Oakley’s nursery is starting to come together bit by bit! This little cozy corner is all set. I had this in my mind for a while—I knew I wanted a cozy corner to rock him, read and snuggle. Here’s what I incorporated to make this corner special:
Upholstered rocking chair- any chair that’s comfy for you! It could be a glider, sitting chair with an ottoman to rest your feet, etc.
Side table- a must have to put a bottle down, glass of water or a book.
Task lighting- a table lamp, floor lamp or sconce, preferably dimmable.
Cozy pillow- to prop an arm or put behind your back for ultimate comfort during those long sitting sessions :)
Comfy rug- I layered a super soft sheepskin over his larger jute rug which gives it such a warm, welcoming vibe. It’s a great place to plop him down on if he wants to get on the floor to play (which of course he always does!).
