Our House Exterior Paint: How it Came Out + All the Details
After weeks go having our house swarmed by painters, the job is complete!! It feels so nice to have a clean, freshly painted exterior! It makes all the other work we’ve done on the outside, like the landscaping, garage exterior project and front door replacement stand out so much nicer.
We decided to go for a warm white for the body. I really wanted a white exterior but the amount of sun our house gets makes it blinding to look at already, so I could only imagine what a true white house would look like! For the trim we went with a bit of a brighter white and the door we did yellow! I love the subtle pop of color. We did the same yellow that the interior of the door is painted. We also nixed the shutters! I wasn’t sure about that at first, but once I saw them off I knew it was a better look for our house. It gives it so much more space and an open look. Scroll down for paint colors!
Here’s how the house looked before!
The colors we picked out were Benjamin Moore, but the painting company we used use Sherwin Williams. They said we can choose any color we want from Benjamin Moore and they can specialty mix it, so that’s what we did!
