Small Updates to Our Master Bedroom

We made a few small changes to our decor in our master bedroom, and I wanted to share them with you guys!
I knew for a long time that I wanted to get bedside sconces, so we finally installed some! We went with simple black sconces with a glass shade, and I chose a vintage style amber bulb. Since the bulb will always be visible, I wanted to make sure it was stylish. I love the warm, amber glow it gives off, too. The sconces are clearly not hardwired at the moment but they have the option to be if we want to cut through the wall at some point.
Another update is our bedding! We took the duvet off for now (we will probably add it back in the winter) and swapped it for a cozy blanket and quilt. All the throw pillows are made by me!
The two large indigo watercolor artwork on the nightstands were painted by me and I matted them for breathing room. The smaller framed piece is a piece of African mudcloth from the same fabric that I made this pillow.
I’m not sure if I want to add artwork above the bed or not, so for now we are leaving it blank. If the right piece pops up, we will consider it! I never like to rush into artwork—I always think it should be an extremely thoughtful purchase.
