Master Bedroom Refresh Reveal

We are SO excited to share our master bedroom refresh with you guys! We are so happy with the outcome—it feels like a relaxing oasis with the light colors, plants, natural elements and bohemian touches.
This shows how simple updates can really change a room. All we did was paint, swap out the ceiling fan for a medallion and chandelier, change the window treatments and hang the curtain rods high and wide. We made sure to be very thoughtful with planning out the decor before purchasing items. We had a color palette and vibe in mind, which made the outcome a success!
Our wall color is Aura in White Dove by Benjamin Moore.
Here are a couple of before photos!
I truly believe lighting makes a room. If you love your lighting, you are more likely to love the room. This gorgeous chandelier is artisan made with capiz shells and makes a beautiful, light chime when air passes through it. The authentic shells keeps with our natural, earthy theme.
I painted that canvas above in a color that matches our salt lamps on our nightstands. It's a simple accent that brings more light and color into the space without being disruptive.
I found a set of nightstands at the goodwill and painted them and changed out the hardware to fit in with the style of our room.
That basket wall hanging is a goodwill find! I love that it looks like a little sun. A perfect piece for this room.
Cutie! :) This beautiful, cozy duvet cover is from Piglet in Bed. I love the natural, washed/lived in look.
Plants are a must in our bedroom oasis! They bring life and clean air into the space. I'm a sucker for fiddle leaf figs!
Instead of purchasing a new floor mirror, I painted one we already owned in a distressed style with a color that matches our nightstands.
A special thanks to my dad and brother in law for helping us with the work in this room!
