Clearly we are on a closet kick lately! What started as a simple design plan turned into a much larger project. We decided if we’re doing the closet, we might as well do it right and for the long term—something that will work with our son’s changing needs as he grows.

Having the garden prepared really signals the start of the season for me and it brings us so much joy as a family. It’s such a peaceful spot to walk through each day, and once things start growing Anchor really enjoys checking in each day to see what he can harvest (aka eat right from the plant and the harvest never makes it inside)!

When we took out the overgrown trees on this side of the house and decided to forgo shutters when we had the house painted, it just seemed too bare on this part of the house. So, we decided to add some window boxes! Dan made these by hand and honestly his handiwork never disappoints!
