December is all about the holidays to me! I don’t know about anyone else, but it’s hard for me to focus on much else! Our home is decorated, gifts are (mostly) purchased, now it’s time for wrapping! This month I’m loving muted colors, natural materials and glowy lights. And of course, cinnamon buns! Ever since I was little we had cinnamon buns every Christmas morning, so of course I’ve had to continue that tradition with my own family now :)

Here are 5 things I’m loving lately:

This coffee maker. I’m all about easy when it comes to my coffee making these days. I love a good French press but I don’t really have the extra time for that these days! I love that this steams milk for lattes or froths it cold for iced lattes.

Reading My Father’s Dragon with my 6 year old son. I loved these stories! And it was such special bonding time with my boy. He absolutely loves the stories and was so into it the entire time. The chapter are nice and short so we were able to read a couple chapters each night. It was something we both really looked forward to and enjoyed talking about during the day.

This fabric steamer. I’ve waited way too long to get a clothing steamer! I used to dread taking out the iron and ironing board. Now I actually look forward to getting wrinkles out of my clothes haha. It’s kind of fun to use and honestly this little handheld one had worked really well for me. I’ve done a lot of sweaters and it really gets the wrinkles out. I plan to use this for bedding and curtains as well.

This DIY cinnamon-orange pinecone potpourri. I shared this on my stories about a week ago, but if you missed it here’s how to make: Grab an essential-oil safe decorative bowl, add some mini pinecones, add a few drops each of cinnamon essential oil and sweet orange essential oil. Add more whenever the scent begins to dissipate. Perfect for a powder room!

I’ve been loving mulled wine lately! I’ve been cooking it in the crockpot for when guests come over and it really is such a nice treat. It also makes the house smell great! I’ve been using this recipe, just tweaking it a bit by adding more of each spice, double the amount of orange peel, half the amount of brandy and longer cooking time.

What’s something you’re loving lately?!
