This year I decided to put the illuminated cones inside large planters. I love how it gives them extra height. I filled the planters with dirt and stuck a variety of clipped evergreen branches inside. Planters here.
Our entryway! We have this fake tree here which looks so nice from the outside through our 4-lite front door. I placed extra boucle material I had around the bottom as a “skirt”. The countdown to Christmas blocks are always fun! Anchor loves coming down each morning and changing it :)
I cut some branches from our yard and tied some frayed velvet ribbon on it to attach to the sconce.
Our family room is really where most of the Christmas decor is! This year I purchased a pre-made fresh garland, doubled it up and added some extra clipped greenery from our yard to really make it nice and full. Hanging bells add a little special touch.
This crate of greenery is something I did last year and just really loved. I clipped branches from our yard and stuck them in vases filled with water which I then placed inside this crate. The sparkle lights add a nice little glow to the arrangement.
I shared how to make these wood bead and ribbon ornaments on instagram if you’re interested! They are fun for both kids and adults to make. I made several of them to hang on the tree to give our tree a consistency throughout since we do have a variety of special ornaments. The wood bead garland also helps with this.
This year I added bells to our wreath. I love the soft jingle they make when we open the door! Bells are from Etsy and I strung them on some thick twine.
