The first impression your home makes...no pressure, right?! There is definitely an art to choosing exterior colors for the home, and when there are thousands upon thousands of colors available out there, it can be overwhelming! I've rounded up some beautiful exterior inspiration and color combos to match. I hope this inspires and helps lead you in a direction you will be happy with!

All the paint suggestions are Benjamin Moore only because that's the brand we most often use and therefore can recommend. It does not mean that's what these houses below used—I just chose close matches and colors that can work well together.

Use this as a starting point or inspiration. There are many possibilities out there! Most importantly, enjoy the process :)

What's more cheery and welcoming than a yellow door?! Combine it with warm whites on the body and trim of the house.

A white house with black shutters is a classic choice. Combine it with a black front door to keep with the refined, classic look, or try a beautiful light blue for a fun, modern twist!

A beautiful, dark-stained door pairs well with a cool-white body and lavender blue shutters. A striking and different combo that looks thoughtful but not overdone.

I love a navy blue door! Bold and chic, it looks great combined with a soft, pinkish/brown white body and crisp white trim in the above home.

If you want a real punch of color, try a beautiful red/orange door combined with a warm white body and gray trim. A home with this look is sure to stand out (in a good way)!

For an inviting and modern look, try a warm white body, lighter trim and a warm gray door and shutters.

Looking for a darker body? Try navy siding combined with crisp white trim and a beautiful stained door.
