Our Front Door Paint Makeover

I was so sad to say goodbye to the yellow door, but it just wasn’t working with our house as much as I wanted it to! It just fell flat on the exterior and on the interior it felt too bright in comparison with the rest of our home. I knew I wanted a shade of black, and after lots of paint chips and some samples, landed on Wrought Iron by Benjamin Moore. I used the Aura Exterior paint in semi-gloss.

I also swapped out the rug for this vintage-style one from Loloi rugs. It’s the Layla in “Antique/Moss”.
