The playroom is starting to feel like a playroom now! I designed this room to easily transition from playroom to office, so before the toys came in it looked more like a home office. Now the shelves are filled with toys and the beautiful activity table Dan made for the space is getting plenty of use!

The neutral base of this room made it so that the toys can be the decor and bring in the color without the space looking too busy. The Container Store was my best friend for this toy organizing process! I chose totes and baskets that work together and got a few of each to balance out both sides of the built-ins.

The clear shoe containers are great for stacking and for the kids to be able to see what’s inside them. I also love the totes with designated label areas! I linked to the totes and containers below.

Dan made this simple activity table perfect for lego building, blocks, trains and lots of other activities! The lip around the edge makes it so toys don’t slide off. I placed these cute lego containers underneath for easy access. They stack on top of each other too which is really cool!
