I'm all for making food fun, enjoyable and switching things up—especially for kids! The better it looks, the more likely my son is to eat it. And what’s more fun than a snack board?!
I saw “give” “save” and “spend” banks for sale and LOVED the idea of a kids bank specifically for giving. I think this will get him more excited, involved and give him a better understanding about what it is to give. Essentially we are using it as a little bank where he can add some money to it each time he receives/earns some, then find ways to use it for good once he accumulates enough.
Earth Day is right around the corner! This year I decided to start collecting/borrowing books about helping the earth ahead of time so I can really start the conversation and understanding with Anchor. These are 6 of the books we’ve really enjoyed and have a good message. They do vary in age range a bit.
Read on for a small description of each book!
We are SO excited to share Anchor's bedroom makeover with you guys!! We both agree it may be our favorite room in the house right now—it's just so darling :) Lots of love went into creating this room for Anchor. We kept it closed off until it was fully finished so we could give him a grand reveal!
Sometimes it's easy to get wrapped up in our own little world and forget about how going out of our way to show kindness is so important. I think it's especially important when you have kids looking up to you—the whole "leading by example" thing. I also think we can all agree that the whole world needs a little extra kindness right now <3
