Our powder bath reveal! Small changes can make a big impact. We didn’t do anything majorly drastic but what we did do freshened up the space and brought it more in line with the rest of our home. I wanted this space to feel fresh, warm, simple and natural. We brought in a limestone flooring which we laid in a herringbone pattern, replaced the beadboard with new beadboard at 2/3 the height of the walls, painted, brought in a new oak vanity, installed a new faucet, replaced the toilet and finished off with a new light fixture, vintage mirror, special artwork and a new towel ring and paper holder.

The two finishes I went with in this space are polished nickel and antique brass. We installed a dimmer switch (which I recommend in almost every room!) since this space has no natural light source. This allows a softer light to be achieved so we’re not blasted with such a harsh, bright light.
