Our Family Room Design + Decorating Plans

I meant to share our plans for our family room sooner, but have been so busy it kept getting put on the back burner! We have finished all the big updates and renovations, and are now in the decorating stages. It's so fun seeing it all come together!

We want a very earthy eclectic vibe with pops of whimsy. We are going with lots of earthy colors and materials and sprinkling in little whimsical elements like the light fixture and some hardware and decor choices. 

This is an initial floor plan for the room. It was a bit of a challenge to figure out the best way to configure the furniture for both television viewing and fireplace enjoyment, but I think this will work!

I'm SO excited to share the final outcome with you guys! Hopefully in the next couple of weeks :)
