On 4th of July weekend we took a road trip to Mystic, CT. We haven't been there since we were kids so it was interesting going back! We started off with lunch then headed over to the seaport area. A nice, short trip during a long weekend!

Eat

Latitude 41 had delicious food and a gorgeous view on the water! It was perfect and roomy outside for a stroller and we didn't have to worry too much about Anchor's babbling haha.

We tried going to the downtown area where all the shops are first, but the restaurants were not very baby-accommodating. Also, I would not recommend trying to walk downtown with a stroller! It's really tight and people were surprisingly rude about it.

We got ice-cream at Twisters before heading home!

Play

The seaport is really cool and great for kids. They have a whole village set up as the 19th-century, historic vessels you can walk onto, a planetarium and more. I feel like it will be a good place to bring Anchor back to when he's older and actually understands what's going on!
